Well, although it would have been nice to have toasted sitting outside Toast, it was actually pretty dim and dismal. Still, sitting outside did mean that we avoided being deafened by the smoke alarm.
The caff was good and had all manner of healthy looking breakfast options, and were nonchalantly unapologetic about being out of bagels despite our being the first through the door. However the toasted cheese croissants were so good that I think they may be forgiven. Perhaps.
Not the cheapest place ever, but not quite as much of a cash-burner as Smiths either. I’d definitely go back, although preferably on a sunnier morning.
